Backing the Next Generation with Battle-Tested Capital

Skyfall Origin Story –

And The Capital Behind

My journey as an entrepreneur started long before founding my first company. I grew up in Heidelberg, in southern Germany, and from a young age I was drawn to building things—driven by curiosity, creativity, and a deep fascination for innovation. Early on, I began investing in the future by building a stock portfolio focused on tech-driven companies challenging the status quo.

I studied Business Administration in Augsburg and Heidelberg and started my career in sales at Deutsche Bank. That experience taught me the value of discipline, customer orientation, and delivering results—principles that have guided me ever since, as a founder.

In 2016, I founded homefully, which became Europe’s largest co-living platform. Over the years, I experienced the full spectrum of the founder journey: from the pressure of early traction to the chaos of funding rounds, and from rapid scaling to the emotional toll of high-stakes decisions. I raised €20 million in equity from leading VCs—and only €50,000 in debt, backed by a personal guarantee. That imbalance was eye-opening. I realized how broken the venture debt market in Europe was, and how quickly founders can lose control of their companies through constant equity dilution.

In 2021, after successfully exiting homefully—which today operates as Habyt and generates several hundred million euros in annual revenue, I founded Skyfall.
Skyfall is the product of everything I learned as a founder. It’s rooted in a belief that early-stage founders don’t just need capital—they need partners who understand them. People who’ve sat on their side of the table, felt the same pressures, and navigated the same inflection points.

Today, I’m building Skyfall to be the partner I once wished I had in the early beginning —one built around the founder perspective, shaped by real startup experience, and committed to helping the next generation of entrepreneurs succeed - recognizing that true alignment means growing and winning together.

Outside of work, I’m a passionate chef—something my wife, family, and friends especially appreciate. And of course, I’m an avid traveler who loves to explore places from Antarctica to Japan. My favorite place in the world? Paradise Bay, Antarctica.

Our Peers –

You Better Never Walk Alone

At Skyfall, I’m not building alone. I’m fortunate to be surrounded by a small but powerful group of entrepreneurs—trusted peers who have built and exited companies themselves and who actively support what we do. We typically invest as a team of two or three through a Skyfall investment, combining capital with hands-on experience and complementary perspectives.

This collaborative approach expands the surface area of what we can offer founders—strategically, operationally, and when it comes to unlocking access to capital. It also reflects what I’ve learned as a founder: you go faster alone, but further together.
